IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Museum is situated on a Ministry of Defence base so, as you might expect,

visitors are expected to jump through a few metaphorical hoops before being let in.

These are explained in the documents below, and you are advised to read them before

making your booking to make sure that you will be able to comply with the regulations.

Jim Herkes has arranged a visit to this unique museum, which is focused entirely

on collecting, archiving and displaying the history of military intelligence across the

three services - army, navy and air force - from the Boer War to the present day.

It reveals the tactics, techniques and equipment used by people who have carried out

vitally important tasks across the years, often in secret, with courage and determination,

but always without fanfare.  Our visit will allow access to the secrets of the shadowy world

of intelligence, security, espionage and other military intelligence disciplines

-  stories that you won’t see or hear in any other museum in the United Kingdom.

The visit will commence at 11.00 ack emma, and the detailed travel instructions below

show how to get there.  Please schedule your arrival at the site to allow enough time
for the lengthy identification processes to be completed
.  There is no charge for entry

to the Museum, but donations will be appreciated during the visit, or online at MIM Donations.

To book for the visit please contact Jim as soon as possible on 01234 771917 or at jimherkes@aol.com

and arrange for your completed booking form to reach him by Wednesday 5 August 2026.

There’s a limit on numbers, so it’s first come, first served.
